The location was stunning and super, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Shetland Museum and Archives. The hotel was placed 15 km away from the airport. The employees were lovely. I was very happy with the exceptionally good room, that was complete with four poster bed and TV plus the bar.

We were attending a Golden Wedding celebration in the hotel and staying there was ideal. We have dined there on a previous occasion and the food was excellent.
Some light fittings did not work.1 bedside light and the bathroom mirror light Asmell of smoking in the corridor.

they responded well and immediately to our only complaint. our first nights sleep was hampered by a tired mattress.a brand new bed was installed the next day
the layout was very 70's.the kitchen was remote from the dining room .all meals had to be brought through the reception area

The view from our bedroom and the dining room overlooking the bay- beautiful. Helpful staff.
a bit tired and dated and quite ugly exterior. Views and Location overlooking the bay made up for it.

Staff helpfulness varied, a number of staff very European and did not go the extra mile to help. Local staff were very helpful. Would say that its more of a buisness type hotel. Would not recommend for leisure trip or family.

Friendly. Comfortable.Good breakfast.Efficient staff. Nice outlook from breakfast room.
Evening meal very disappointing on one of my two evenings there. Actually it was pretty bad and I considered making a complaint. However I did not and the meal the next night was good

Excellent breakfast with very good service. Helpful staff.
The bed was like a brick. The bathroom window did not close. The bar was very dark and had no atmosphere.

The food here is really something else, I had the best venison I've ever tasted during dinner, like it was crafted by some sort of culinary alchemist. The staff were very friendly, always eager to help, especially Jethro who gave me great tips about the area, it's rare to find that kind of dedication.
It wasn't exactly wallet-friendly, but still acceptable for the quality offered.
